How to sand the moulding before the painting
Step one
Before sanding, clean the moulding surface to remove dust, dirt, or grease. You can choose to sand by hand with sandpaper or use an electric sander. During sanding, be sure to pay attention to the pressure and time to avoid damaging the mold surface.
Step two
After sanding, check that the surface is smooth and flat. Then, thoroughly clean the trim strip to remove all sanding dust. You can wipe the surface with a dust cloth or a slightly damp microfiber cloth. Ensure the surface is completely dry before applying paint or primer.
